Psychotherapy Services
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some people want help with specific symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and addiction or to be free from painful and traumatic memories. Other people come to find a way out because they feel stuck in their lives, to have better relationships, and to foster creativity in their lives. Therefore, psychotherapy can help a wide range of people.
Psychotherapy begins like this: First, the client makes a phone call to arrange a consultation session which lasts about one hour. In the consultation, the client talks about the difficulties that he or she is experiencing as well as family, relationships, and work history. Based on the client’s needs, the therapist and the client will come up with the therapy plan and frequency of sessions

EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)
"EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. The model on which EMDR is based, Adaptive Information Processing(AIP), posits that much of psychopathology is due to the maladaptive encoding of and/or incomplete processing of traumatic or disturbing adverse life experiences. This impairs the client’s ability to integrate these experiences in and adaptive manner. The eight phase, three-pronged process of EMDR facilitates the resumption of normal information processing and integration. This treatment approach, which targets pat experience, current triggers, and future potential challenges, results in the alleviation of presenting symptoms, a decrease or elimination of distress from the disturbing memory, improved view of the self, relief from bodily disturbance, and resolution of present and future anticipated triggers”. (EMDRIA definition of EMDR)
Phone Session
For some people, it is more comfortable and less threatening to have psychotherapy sessions over the phone especially in the beginning. Also, if people can’t find a therapist whom they feel comfortable in the area where they live and are too busy to find time to visit a therapist's office, phone sessions or Skype sessions can be an option. One session lasts for 45 minutes.
